Reaching the Fullness of Christ: Nairobi Unites at AFLEWO 22
Nairobi believers gathered at Winners' Chapel, Likoni Road, for AFLEWO—marking 22 years of all-night prayer. Grounded in Ephesians 4:13, the Church united in worship to intercede for Kenya and Africa, praying to reach the fullness of Christ and fulfill God's prophetic agenda.
Believers gathered at Winners' Chapel International along Likoni Road off Mombasa Road as the Church in Nairobi met for an all-night worship and prayer vigil. Hosted under the umbrella of Africa Let's Worship (AFLEWO), the interdenominational movement marked 22 years of continuous annual gatherings aimed at uniting Christians across diverse backgrounds to worship, intercede, and plead the case for the Church, Kenya, and the wider continent of Africa.
Grounded in Ephesians 4:13, the theme for the night vigil focused on the spiritual growth of believers, praying that the Church will reach the fullness of Christ in maturity and step boldly into its prophetic and priestly mandate to advance God's agenda for the nation.
The event also marked the launch of the AFLEWO website https://aflewo.org. The launch of the official website marks a milestone in uniting believers across borders by serving as the digital hub for the Africa Let's Worship movement. The platform offers visitors easy access to upcoming night vigil dates, chapter updates across Kenya and the region, livestreams, and media archives of past worship sessions. Beyond serving as an information centre, the site streamlines choir registration and volunteer sign-ups, while casting the core vision of AFLEWO—inviting partners and worshippers alike to stand in agreement for the spiritual transformation of Africa.
The theme for 2026 is: Ascension. As mentioned, it is drawn from Ephesians 4:13. It is a direct spiritual call for unity, growth, and divine alignment within the body of Christ. Centred on reaching the full measure of the stature of Christ. The theme challenges believers across different denominations to move past spiritual infancy and sectarian divisions in order to stand as a united, mature Body.
